How to use FAT32/exFAT drives :
The Wii U system prioritizes Wii U formatted drives, which prevents external FAT32 and exFAT drives from appearing immediately in the file manager upon connection. To access the external file systems, a console reboot is necessary after plugging the drive in. Furthermore, access to associated WFS drive files will be temporarily inaccessible; the external drive must be removed and the Wii U rebooted to restore WFS file access.
