App Details

Sporegram is a Nintendo Switch port of AAhead, the Telegram client for the New Nintendo 3DS by Alex Gakh (Memetrix).

Everything below the interface comes from there and is unchanged in substance: the MTProto transport, the application layer, storage, calls, and the text engine that does UTF-8, wrapping and Telegram's entities. That part was already proven against Telegram on real hardware, which is the only reason a port was affordable at all.

The interface is new. AAhead's views are composed for two stacked 400×240 panels; reshaping them into one 1280×720 screen turned out to cost more than writing an interface meant for it. So switch/ is written from scratch on SDL2 and FreeType, and none of source/ui/'s views are linked.

Sporegram is licensed GPL-3.0, like its upstream, and the whole source is here.
