App Details
BetterBedrock NX is a toolkit for Minecraft (Bedrock) on a modded Switch running Atmosphere, for consoles that stay off Nintendo's servers (an emuMMC with Nintendo blocked, or a banned console) with a community server setup such as Nextendo's Prelude.
- Vibrant Visuals on a Switch 1: the original Switch's Minecraft has Vibrant Visuals built in but switched off. This switches it on for Minecraft 1.26.44 (an Atmosphere exefs patch for that exact build), with Fast / Balanced / Quality profiles tuned for the Switch 1. It needs an overclock: about 20-25 fps in handheld at a high overclock with Mojang's own settings; the profiles are lighter.
- Microsoft sign-in fix: Prelude (from 3.5.7) redirects Microsoft's sign-in servers in the hosts file, so Minecraft can't sign in. This turns off just those lines, and can undo it.
- Join your own server: Minecraft on Switch has no Add Server button. One featured server in Play > Servers becomes a door to the server you choose, through BedrockConnect (any port) or directly (servers on port 19132).
- A Tesla/Ultrahand overlay to switch routing on and off.
Nintendo's hosts lines are never touched, and it never contacts Nintendo. Formerly BedrockLink: settings carry over. Tested on firmware 22.5.0, Atmosphere 1.11.2 (Mariko).
